Fan service!! Fun fact: The costumes selected for Maria’s imagination were taken from rejected costume choices for Rain during the original OCSC. People who were watching me way back when and voted for maids, nurses or cheerleaders for her will probably enjoy this page the most.
This really is a mostly unnecessary page, but man, does it make me laugh. In fact, this really may be one of my favorite pages period. It was so much fun to draw. Plus, Maria’s shyness is adorable, Rudy’s prodding is hilarious, and there’s just a hint of transition and foreshadowing at the end to make the page a little more worthwhile.
The only thing that compares to “Rain and Fara bickering” pages is “Maria and Rudy bickering” pages. I guess I just get a lot of amusement out of watching people who care for each other bicker. ^_^
Oh, and I can't even begin to imagine what sort of ringtone Rudy would have... ♫
