Boy...?
I used to wear dresses and play with dolls,
While wishing I was playing in the mud.
I used to go shopping and wear lots of pink,
While wondering what boxers would feel like.
Now I know what I am, I don't question for a second.
But everyone else,
What do they see?
I look like a boy through and through,
Everyone calls me a he at first.
Then I talk to them.
My voice is high.
They notice something is up.
And they apologize.
And I die a little inside.
"May I go to my locker?"
"Yes, ma'am, you may."
Can't you see that I'm a boy, are you blind?
My full name... What boy is named that?
Mother, why? Why label me this?
There's a boy

Transgender Respect
This is something that saddens me, I hear it every day.
There is no love in the world any more, they only want their pay.
But what is even sadder, and you might not have guessed.
Is those who are brung so far down, simply for their chest.
Their genitals don't matter, and it never really should.
Transgendered people, are really misunderstood.
I kills me to think, that people are so stubborn to see.
They are who they are, just like you and me.
Though people take one look, then turn away.
They never really listened, to what they had to say.
They are people too, just born in the wrong gender.
They are kinder then you, I hope you will r

Secrets..
"We're just friends"
You say these words again and again
Because everyone is convinced,
That we are girlfriends.
You laugh it off,
"Oh yea, as if!"
I laugh along
But you don't notice that it's cold.
You don't pay attention to
The pounding of my heart
When you rest your head on my chest.
You don't feel my fingers tremble
When they meet your skin.
You don't notice my breathing
When your tongue slithers over my neck.
You fall asleep in my arms,
So you don't feel my lips
Brush slightly against your ear
And what's more, you don't hear
When I whisper,
"I love you"
You mumble something from your dreams
And just as I think I ma

I am entirely capable of (and quite prone to) being bitter, resentful and depressed. However, I don't like to "hate" things. I really do try my best to keep a positive outlook about all things. It's not always easy, but it CAN be done and I feel like it's saved my life many times.
Lately, I've been seeing a lot of those "I Hate" lists. And frankly, they bug me. It's disappointing to see people hate so much. Isn't anyone HAPPY anymore? Is it really so hard to make a list of the things that one loves? With that question in mind, I tried this. I succeeded. There are 112 things on this list, and to me, that's awesome. It's probably not original, and I honestly doubt I'm the first one to do this, but I simply have not seen it. And imagine that: I'm in an better mood now that I've been able to actually reflect on some of the better things in my life.
I loved doing this. And I'd love to see other people share what they love as well. Frankly, I've seen enough hate. ^_^
