As of this moment, Round 1 of the OCSC is over. Tomorrow, we will begin Round 2. And you may not know it yet, but this is what you've really been waiting for. At least, that's my not so humble opinion on it. I'm not even gonna hold back: I am exceedingly happy with Round 2 and will be opening up the option of Critique for anyone interested. So I really hope you guys will like them too.

As you may remember from a month or two ago, Round 2 is costumes rather than swimsuits. You guys voted for who will be wearing what and now you'll finally get to see what you've chosen. Some were absolutely perfect choices for the characters. While some were odd choices... to say the least. Either way, they all make it work.

AND on the day of the posting of the final Round 2 piece (July 15th), I will allow voting. The voting will continue for ten days (ending July 25th), which I believe should be MORE than enough time to come up with three favorites (three equal votes won majority, by the way). I will release the results on July 26th (the original starting date of the OCSC), whip up a final piece for the winning contestant, and proceed to move on to something else.

By the way, I still have NO idea what I'm doing for the victor. Ideas, anyone?

OCSC Voting Rules

1. Votes will not be accepted until the last day (July 15th). Comments, critique and faves though are still okay in my book.

2. Each person will be allowed to submit THREE votes for three DIFFERENT contestants. You are more than welcome to vote for only one or two contestants if you prefer, but you DO have three votes, so why not use them? Also, all three votes will have equal value, so don't worry about the order; just pick your three favorites.

3. You may not vote three times for the same contestant; if you try, I will count all three as a single vote.

4. How you cast your vote is up to you. You may post a comment, send me a note, IM me, etc.. Or if you know me personally, e-mail, phone, or knocking on my door is also acceptable. Finally, if you know me from other sites (RRR, Backloggery, etc.) you can contact me there too. How you do is it up to you, but if you want it to count, you have to make sure I know.

Note: I will NOT be making a Poll for the official voting since it does not allow for multiple choice, and it is possible to cheat.

5. The voting concludes at 11:59PM on July 25th (Please don't wait until the last second; I'm assuming most of you already have a good idea of who you like best.) I will then tally the votes and award a gold, silver and bronze medal to the three with the most votes and do some "special" piece for the winner. I don't know exactly what I'm doing for it yet, but I'm up for options.

6. Also, whoever wins the contest will NOT dictate which story I go on to write when this is all over. I will resume Lavender Town regardless of the winner (as well as perhaps something else alongside it). So please keep your votes focused on the contestant you like best, and not on who you want to see more of.

In consolation of this, new DevArt pieces in the future will probably feature these characters again since you, my watchers, will actually know who they are now. (Trust me, this is a blessing for both of us.)
